Reza Pahlavi, at a ceremony honoring Cyrus the Great in Toronto, stated: “Unlike the Islamic regime, we Iranians are heirs to Cyrus's legacy. We seek power not for domination, but for order and justice. Cyrus told his soldiers in Babylon to tread lightly so as not to instill fear in the hearts of the people.”

In connection with the upcoming celebration of Cyrus, the Iranian community in Toronto held an event to commemorate the founder of the Achaemenid dynasty. Pahlavi emphasized that the Islamic Republic fears Cyrus because he symbolizes Iranian identity, humanity, freedom, and tolerance.

He added that after the Islamic Republic, Iran's resources will be used to promote peace rather than support terrorism, elevating the current Abraham Accords to a Cyrus Pact.
