Koroush Yaghmaei, the renowned Iranian rock singer and composer, announced his retirement from the music scene following the release of his latest album, titled "Plak 44." The 79-year-old artist stated on his Instagram that the album will soon be released by an American company.

In his farewell message, Yaghmaei emphasized that throughout his artistic career, despite difficulties and a lack of resources, he dedicated his efforts to promoting the culture and identity of Iran. He concluded his message with the heartfelt phrase, "May God protect Iran," expressing gratitude to his fans and supporters.

He shared:

"Dear friends, I have put my utmost effort into elevating the glorious and sacred culture and identity of my beloved Iran while navigating this rocky path without the minimum resources. Now, I inform all my dear supporters that after the release of my album 'Plak 44' by Now Again Records and the wonderful Yvetan Alapat, I will be stepping away from music."
