Trump Makes First Massive Announcement About Presidency

The Second Amendment has been in mortal danger ever since Barack Obama took office eight long years ago.

Had she won, Hillary Clinton promised to continue Obama’s quest to destroy the Second Amendment, which is why it came as a huge relief to gun-owners when Donald Trump won the election on Tuesday.

Now, Trump has given gun owners even more good news by announcing a plan that will protect gun lovers throughout his entire presidency.

Breitbart reported that Trump has revealed he will immediately implement a national reciprocity law for licensed concealed carriers across the country when he takes office.

This law will force states to recognize concealed carry permits from all other states already awaited action in Congress, and it will not be difficult for the Republican-controlled House and Senate to pass the bill and send it along to the White House for President Trump’s signature.

Conservative Tribune reported that national reciprocity was one of the top priorities laid out in the Trump campaign’s policy proposals on strengthening and protecting gun rights.

“The right of self-defense doesn’t stop at the end of your driveway. That’s why I have a concealed carry permit and why tens of millions of Americans do too. That permit should be valid in all 50 states,” Trump’s policy paper stated.

“A driver’s license works in every state, so it’s common sense that a concealed carry permit should work in every state. If we can do that for driving — which is a privilege, not a right — then surely we can do that for concealed carry, which is a right, not a privilege,” he added.
