HRANA News Agency – Four Sunni prisoners were transferred from Urmia Intelligence Office to the prison after three months of interrogations. Seyed Taha Karimi, Hassan Youssefi, Ali Khalili and Mohammad Sa’id Hamzeh Zadeh were arrested in Mahabad in November.
According to the report of the Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the four men on Monday, January 25th were transferred to the prison of Urmia.
The exact circumstances of the charges and the reasons for the detention of these prisoners are unknown. They were arrested in a group of eleven people in early November 2015 in the village of Qara Bolagh of Mahabad.
At least one of them named Seyed Taha Karimi had previously been arrested in 2012 and was imprisoned for 17 months in Rajai Shahr prison.
