HRANA News Agency – Erfan Naderizadeh, Sunni prisoners in Rajai Shahr prison, who is held in separate ward from his father, has requested to be transferred to hall 10, the whereabouts of his father. He said that due to the difference in the meeting days of the wards and the long distance from Sanandaj to Karaj, their families could not go to visit them, twice a week. According to the report of HRANA, Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran, over the past few days, a group of prisoners in hall 10 of Rajai Shahr prison have been transferred to ward seven. One of the prisoners is Erfan Naderizadeh who was incarcerated in hall 10 with his father. HRANA’s sources said that in addition to family ties, the meeting day of one of these wards is Sundays and other one is Wednesdays and according to the distance from Sanandaj to Tehran and financial poverty, the situation has been difficult for this family in term of visit. Teimor and Erfan Naderizadeh have requested through letters from Rajai Shahr prison authorities, in Karaj, to be kept in the same ward. Teimor Naderizadeh is a Sunni prisoner who had been sentenced to death for accusation of “Combat”. It is said that the verdict was reduced to 10 years imprisonment in the Supreme Court, and it has been notified verbally to the prisoner but not officially yet. Erfan Naderizadeh, also, with the same accusation, was sentenced to eight years imprisonment and is currently being held in ward seven of Rajai Shahr prison. |
