HRANA News Agency – Ezatollah Jafari, civil activist, was arrested in Andimeshk, following a new wave of civil activists’ detention in this city. According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Ezatollah Jafari, the national-religious civil activist in Andimeshk who was not at home and was not arrested last Wednesday morning during the security forces’ coordinated raids to the houses of civil and labor activists, presented himself by the pressure of security forces and is currently held under detention. On Wednesday morning, 15th September, security forces raided the homes of civil and labor activists in Andimeshk city and arrested Shapour Rashno other national-religious oriented civil activist and a number of other civil and labor activists, including, “Ali Mohammad Jahangiri”, “Amir Rahimkhani”, and his mother and “Ali Nejati” of the Haft Tapeh syndicate. Amir Rahimkhani and his mother were released a few days later. It should be noted that it has been announced that these activists have been arrested by the Intelligence agents of the Revolutionary Guards and their case is will be handled by the Branch 3 of Interrogation in Andimeshk city. There is no information yet, regarding the reason of these extensive and concurrent arrests in Andimeshk. |
