HRANA News Agency – Hasan Taffah, the 86-year-old prisoner of Rajaei Shahr prison, was not accepted by Imam Khomaini hospital and was returned to prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Hasan Taffah, 86, who is diagnosed with blood cancer, despite being sent to the hospital by prison, was not accepted on Imam Khomaini hospital and was sent back to the prison.
Need to be mentioned, the condition of this prisoner is reported critical due to being diagnosed with blood cancer, sever weakness and bad physical condition.
Hasan Taffah is kept in prison, one year after receiving exemption from serving sentence. He has faced many deprivation including release, furlough, or even transfer to the hospital.
Hasan Taffah was arrested by the security forces in 2008 and was sentenced to 15 years in prison in branch number 15 of the revolutionary court by judge Salavati, on charges of espionage and propaganda against the regime.
