HRANA News Agency – Shokoufeh Azar, civil rights activist, is more than 4 months under detention without scheduled court session and is being kept in women’s ward of Evin prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Shokoufeh Azar who was arrested along with Pooria Ibrahimi, Ghazaleh Shirazi and two other civil right activists in a house in Roodehen on June 9 is still under detention after 4 months.
An informed source told HRANA’s reporter, Shokoufeh Azar is charged with “”propaganda against the regime, collusion and establishing conflicting groups against the regime”, and the case of this 45-year-old civil rights activist is under process in branch number 6 of Evin court.
Need to be mentioned this civil rights activist has been deprived of the right of having access to a lawyer.
Worth mentioning that two other arrestees, Ghazaleh Shiri was released 72 hours after the arrest, and Pooria Ibtahimi’s interrogations is finished and he is waiting for the result of his case being processed in ward number 8 of Evin prison.
