HRANA News Agency – In the morning of Sunday 26th April, 4 prisoners were hanged in Arak city.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), they were executed in the courtyard of Arak prison. There is no information about their identity and charges, also authorities and official institutions have not announced these executions, yet.
In addition to the high number of executions in Iran which has been always criticized by human rights activists and international institutions, almost secret executions and executions without any transparency and official notifications, have made executions in Iran, more complex and have added to the uncertainty in this area.
