HRANA News Agency – Despite one month detention, Amir Amirgholi, former student activist, is still deprived of phone call or visit with his family.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Amir Amirgholi, former student activist, was arrested on 1st December this year and even after one month he has not been allowed to contact his family by phone or visit them.
His father, Abbas Amirgholi, told HRANA’s reporter: “After reiterated following, we found out that he is in ward 209 in Evin prison and his case is in branch 6 of revolutionary court and his interrogation is not finished yet. First time he was arrested on 9th October in the gathering for support Kubani and stayed one night in detention.”
He added: “Formerly, Amir was a student activist and after political activities in 2008 he was arrested and expelled from University.”
Amir Amirgholi’s father at the end noted that: “The interrogation is still not finished but the office of Branch 6 stated that currently his charge is acting against the national security.”
