Sen. Mark Kirk (R-Ill.) stressed the importance of sanctions against Iran to stop a nuclear program that he says could develop an atom bomb. Kirk co-sponsored a bill with Sen. Robert Menendez (D-N.J.) to impose sanctions on Iran.
