HRANA News Agency – Proprietor and editor of the student publication, “Jahesh” (University of Shahrood) has been banned from any press activity for a period of 7 months.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), on Saturday 29th November, proprietor and editor of the student publication “Jahesh”, has been verbally notified that he is not allowed to have any press activity for a period of 7 months.
One of the students of Shahrood University told HRANA’s reporter: “It is said that one of the reasons for this order is the complaint by Doctor Fateh, University director, against the publication.”
That is to say that, the student publication, Jahesh, is the only critical reformist platform in Shahrood University and during the last 2 years 9 issues of that have been published.
