HRANA News Agency – Shoresh Aineh Bookani, Kurdish inhabitant of Mahabah, has been detained since 5th October, and he is still held suspended in solitary confinement.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Shoresh Aineh Bookani, from Mahabad on Sunday, 5th October, coincide with the Eid of Muslims was detained by security forces.
One of his relatives told HRANA’s reporter: “Shoresh was arrested on Eid Ghorban day by the Intelligence Office of Mahabad during the ceremony. The officers transferred him to the detention center in Uremia and there is still no news about him and he is held in pending condition in solitary confinement of Intelligence department of the city. ”
He continued: “During this period of time, no responses was given to his family who are following the issue and even a short time meeting or phone call has not been given to him and his condition in the cell is unknown. No one knows if he is healthful or not, and why they do not let him to see his family even for a moment or have a phone call.”
That is to say, security officials have given no information about Shoresh Aineh Bookani’s reason of detention and his charges to his family.
