HRANA News Agency – 14 political prisoners of hall number 12 of Rajaei Shahr prison of Karaj went to hunger strike on Saturday in solidarity with victims of recent acid attacks in Isfahan.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Reza Akbari Monfared, Mohammad Amir Khizi, Behnam Ibrahim Zadeh, Khaled Hardani, Afshin Hairatian, Saleh Kohandel, Abulghasem Fouladvand, Shahrokh Zamani, Saeid Masoori, Mohammadali Mansouri, Asadollah Hadi, Latif Hasani, Afshin Baymani and Misagh Yazdan Nejad went in hunger strike in solidarity with victims of acid throwing attacks in Isfahan, on Saturday October 25.
These prisoners have written in a part of their statement, “the hero women have been suppressed in a directly, brutally and naked way by the regime for many years. Lack of social independence, being banned from specific university majors and many more limitations are just a small portion from the hundreds of limitation that have been imposed by the constitution, which is executed in a systematic way against the women”.
