HRANA News Agency – Jamaleddin Khanjani, an 81-year old Bahai prisoner of conscience and Ali Salanpour, another prisoner of conscience, were transferred to a medical centre outside Raj’i Shahr prison but returned to prison without treatment, apparently because officials demanded money from them.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), it is now reported that on October 20 they were both transferred to medical centres outside the prison.
Mr. Khanjani, one of seven Bahai ‘Yaran’ (national facilitators for the Bahais in Iran), suffers from diverse ailments connected to his age.
Mr. Salanpour has problems with his neck, back and testicles due to severe torture in prison.
