TEHRAN (ISNA)- Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari reiterated that the country is ready to help Palestinians.
"We are ready to support Palestinian resistance (groups) in all fields," Jafari said, adding Gaza war showed that the power of resistance groups is everlasting and developing.
He also said any 'show of power' in Palestine which has paved the way for Zionists' failure, has its roots in Islamic Revolution of Iran.
Jafari continued Iran does not differentiate Sunnis and Shiites when it is defending Muslims, and added that current Gaza and Iraqi catastrophe are the results of the US and Zionists' policies.
Israeli warplanes have been pounding numerous sites in the Gaza Strip since July 8, demolishing houses and burying families under the rubble. Israeli forces also began a ground offensive against the impoverished Palestinian land on July 17.
