A Sunni civilian was summoned to intelligence office

HRANA News Agency – Mohammad Najjari, the former Sunni prisoner was summoned to the intelligence office and beaten and threatened there.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mohammad Najjari, the Sunni student who was released from Rajai Shahr prison of Karaj last September after 18 months of imprisonment was summoned to the intelligence office of Tekab on December 25, 2013. He was threatened and beaten hardly there.

An informed source told HRANA’s reporter: “Two officers of the intelligence office of Tekab (Mr. Esmaili and Mr. Sadra) have beaten and threatened Mohammad Najjari.”

They have threatened Mohammad Najjari that he should not take care of the families of Sunni prisoners or look for a lawyer for them. They have also threatened him that he should not talk about his beliefs anymore.

The source told HRANA’s reporter: “The intelligence officers have told Mohammad Najjari to return to his village.”
