Al-Qaeda has said that it intends to assassinate the Iranian Quds Force commanding officer, Maj. Gen. Qasem Soleimani, the Iranian Fars agency reported. The threat comes after Iran's involvement in the civil war in Syria, supporting Bashar Assad's forces.
The report said that two teams of the terror group were already sent to execute the mission. The Quds Force is the secret arm of the Revolutionary Guards, responsible for terror attacks worldwide. (Ynet)
