HRANA News Agency – Maryam Shafi Pour, the student activist who has been arrested on July 17 and kept in custody in Evin prison, is still on limbo, despite the fact that her trial is carried out. According to JARAS, after one month from Maryam Shafi Pour’s trial, by administration of judge Salavati in branch 15 the case is remained undetermined yet. The judge declared document deprivation, and sent back the case for more investigations. In spite of her family’s efforts for putting bail, it is not agreed and this student activist is still on limbo and undetermined situation. Need to be mentioned, once after a sever health issue, she had transferred to hospital, and she needs medical care. Maryam Shafi Pour was arrested, two weeks after intelligence and security forces assaulted to her father’s house. After three hours inspection of the house, security forces seized a family member and her lap-tops, two cell phones and some of her scripts. After her arrest and transfer to jail, intelligence service forces, had inspected the house several times, and had taken some of her personal accessories and belongings. Maryam Shafi Pour, the former student of International University of Qazvin, after two semester suspension from studying, fired from university because of political activities. She was also an active member of Mehdi Karroubi’s campaign, on 2009 presidential election. This student activist was sentenced to one year in prison, earlier on 2010, for her activities by revolutionary court of Qazvin. |
