Ali Moezzi was transferred to the clinic

HRANA News Agency – Ali Moezzi was transferred out of the prison in terms of medical tests but he was returned back to the prison without getting any medical treatment last Saturday.

According to the report of the Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Ali Moezzi the political prisoner of Karaj central prison was transferred to X-ray center of Karaj on Saturday and right after the X-ray was returned back to the prison.

He who suffers from bladder cancer and kidney disease has been deprived of having access to an appropriate clinic inside prison or hospitalization in any equipped hospital outside of the prison.

A source told HRANA “Even the authorities did not grant any medical furlough for this political aged prisoner and because of lack of having enough medicine in prison his health condition is getting more critical.”

He was arrested in 80s as well and in the autumn of 2008 when he was coming back from Iraq and to visit his family, got arrested in Karaj and sentenced to two years of imprisonment and three years of suspended imprisonment. He was released after the two years of imprisonment but again in June 12, 2011 because of attending the ceremony of Ali Saremi the hanged political prisoner.

Eventually Moezzi was tried in absentia in branch 15 of revolutionary court and sentenced to one year imprisonment which the three years of suspended imprisonment from the previous dossier was added also and totally he has to be in prison for four years.
