TEHRAN (ISNA) - Russian Air Force Commander Lieutenant General Viktor Bondarev is scheduled to arrive in Iran on Sunday for a meeting with his Iranian counterpart Hassan Shah Safi would also visit different sections of Iranian Army.
Bondarev and Shah Safi are scheduled to discuss military cooperation, including missile system between the two countries.
The Russian military official will also plan to visit Science and Aviation School and transport and hunting bases in Iran.
Bondarev will also meet with Khatam al-Anbiya Air Defense Base Commander Farzad Esmaili and Commander of the Aerospace Division of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Amir Ali Hajizadeh.
Iran and Russia have vast cooperation in different fields, specially in political and economic spheres.
The two also enjoy special position on the international scene and have long held constant consultations on key regional and global issues.
Russian banks are participating in schemes to finance Iranian oil exports, which are the target of US and European sanctions against Tehran.
