September 17, 2013
Hello;

Respectfully, as you know my son, Seyyed Hossein Ronaghi Maleki, has had kidney operation for 7 times. And all the doctors have told that if he goes back to prison he will get kidney infection again. This happened and because of not having medical furlough he was operated for 7 times. After being sent to the furlough, the prosecutor ordered him to return to prison before the presidential elections and I took him to prison myself. I gave a letter to the prosecutor at that time that if Hossein returns to Evin prison he will get kidney infection. The prosecutor asked the forensics to do what they should and they have answered him as well. When I come to your office they tell me to talk with Mr. Khodabakhsi. When I talk to him, he tells me to talk to you. Now I do not know even where to go. As you know and Mr. Khodabakhshi knows and the authorities of Evin prison know completely Hossein has got right kidney inflation, he has already lost his left kidney, he suffers from Dysuria, Frequent urination and also Digestive and Prostate Diseases.

As Hossein’s father I ask you, I beg you to guide me how to get permission for his medical furlough and where should I go to get it? I should also mention that, before the authorities were saying that if they give furlough to Hossein he will flee, but now what? I gave the letter to your office today and they told me to give it to Mr. Khodabakhshi’s office and I gave it to Mr. Dehghan, the chief of prosecutor’s special cases office. I must mention that I have already paid the 1 billion 500 million Thomans bill.

Respectfully yours

Seyyed Ahmad Ronaghi Maleki, Hossein’s father

Jafari Dolat Abadi, the prosecutor of Tehran, sent this letter to Mr. Khodabakhshi’s office on September 17, 2013 and ordered them to peruse it.

Then Ahmad Ronaghi sent a fax to Mr. Khodabkhshi’s office writing:

I, Seyyed Ahmad Ronaghi Maleki, am sending this letter which was given to the prosecutor’s office on September 17, 2013 and he gave you some orders about my son’s medical treatment about it and I am asking you to free my child.

September 21, 2013
Ahmad Ronaghi Maleki says:

Yesterday (September 21, 2013) I called to get the answer and they told me to call today. And today I talked with Mr. Khodabakhshi and he said the prosecutor does not approve it. I told him the Forensics has answered to prosecutor’s all questions and he said that was about being taken to hospital. I told him the central Forensics and the Forensics in Beheshti street and the Forensics of North West Tehran in Sadeghiye and the Forensics of Vanak has all sent the documents and according to article 19 of Verdict Enforcement my son should not be in the prison anymore. Meanwhile on February 27, 2011 under the case number 2-576637 he was sent to the BAghiyatollah Hospital and had nuclear CT and other medical tests and it was documented that his both kidneys have infection. Mr. Khodabakhshi please tell the prosecutor that the reason was not being treated as we knew that he suffers from kidney disease. I know that the prosecutor is a kind man and has helped for treating Hossein, so he has sent a letter on April 11, 2011 which has the number 9001/15713001 and I gave it to the prison then. About the medical documents they told that unfortunately the interrogators and Mr. Sattari in the office of judge Pir Abbasi and judge Pir Abbasi himself did not allow the letter of the prosecutor to be answered. I have attached a copy of that letter.i told him again that all the medical documents are in the internal clinic of the prison and I want the documents to be sent to the Forensics once more. Hossein cannot stay in the prison because his right kidney has inflation and he has already lost his left kidney, let the Forensics see the documents, if they said he can stay in the prison then I will say nothing more. But he will lose his life if you do not pay attention. I am told to give all the medical documents to the prosecutor and Mr. Khodabakhshi to be sent to the Central Forensics of Tehran.

I ask the prosecutor and the judge on duty in Evin prison and the authorities of the prison to make an immediate decision about the medical treatment of my son either to release him or to approve his medical furlough. I ask Mr. Jafari Dolat Abadi and the judicial authorities to take an action. Meanwhile I have explained Hossein’s condition through telephone calls and letters to parliament members Mr. Motahhari, Mr. Ahmad Tavakkoli and Dr. Davatgari on August 23, 2013. I ask the authorities of the Islamic Republic and all parliament members to save my son’s life and fulfill justice. I ask them for the freedom of my ill son. And I tell them as a father, it is my duty to protect my son.

Respectfully yours

Seyyed Ahmad Ronaghi Maleki
