Iran sentences two men to 99 lashes

Freedom Messenger -- The sentences for two people arrested for links to the deviated movement who were arrested on charges of espionage, embezzlement, receiving bribes, illegal or dishonest acquisition of money and having an illegitimate relationship were recently announced…

One of these people was charged with four crimes. The first charge was espionage for the intelligence agencies of the US, Britain and Italy for which he was sentenced to five years of prison…

His fourth charge was having an illegitimate relationship for which he has been sentenced to 99 lashes if proven.

According to this report, another person linked to the deviation movement was charged with three crimes.

The first charge is embezzlement… the second crime receiving bribes… and the third crime having an illegitimate relationship for which he has been sentenced to 99 lashes if proven. (Asre Iran state-run website)
