Ahmadinejad threatens destruction against the ayatollahs

This is IranChannel’s exclusive English translation of the April 17, 2011 article in Dolateyar.ir, a website controlled by the Ahmadinejad faction, in which the Iranian president threatens his opponents inside the Islamic Republic leadership, and references the resignation of Intelligence Minister Heidar Moslehi. The original article in Persian was taken down from the Web after Supreme Leader Khamenei reinstated Moslehi, but not before we were able to translate it. The text follows:

A few words with those who plan to assassinate Ahmadinejad. Fear the day that he opens his mouth!

If until yesterday the physical assassination of the opposition was in the to-do list of governments and terror organizations, today a new form of this crime has been created and that is character assassination in the public opinion arena. Physical assassination has costs and consequences that terrorists undoubtedly fear but the assassination of thoughts and ideas have the same effect without any visible or immediate consequences.

Perhaps the comprehension of this issue is very difficult and unpleasant for many, but the undeniable harmony between this group and the slimy [Green Movement] terrorists and the monafeghin [dissemblers, the Mojaheddin e Khalq or MEK] murderers does not leave any room for doubt. The sedition is here!

In this regard, there are a few points that must be made:

1. Certain groups that are very irascible because the government does not grease their palms have concluded that if Ahmadinejad remains in any form, they must pack their bags and leave. Therefore, they have engaged the government on several fronts. For example, Seda va Sima [state television] has censored the pictures of the magnificent gathering of the crowds welcoming Ahmadinejad in his two recent trips. The government is accused of financial misconduct and cooperation with financially corrupt individuals. And finally by provoking the pure sentiments of Hezbollah kids, they place them opposite the government.

2. According to some evidence, the analyses of certain groups have demonstrated that the government is facing numerous economic problems this year and protests will most assuredly cover the country. Based on this, a wave of penitence letters by abject bloggers to institutions and groups that are so-called government supporters has started and starting now, they are distancing themselves from the government. Worse of all, it seems that the above mentioned groups have decided to assemble the potentials of the probable protests with excuses of confronting freemasonry and Hojjatieh so that they can topple the government when necessary! It is interesting for you to know that the sleeper documentary, “The appearance is near” has challenged this malicious plan in spite of all these analyses and has succeeded to delay it. But the resignation of the honorable minister of intelligence [Moslehi] and the consequent media frenzy has provided the necessary fuel for intensifying this issue.

3. If this trend of the destruction of the government continues in this way and media protests turn into street riots and hooligans and Shaaban Bi Mokhs [a reference to Sahban Jafari, a traditional athlete and street bully who led the crowd in support of the Shah in a coup d'etat to depose Mossadegh] head towards Pasteur Avenue [where Khamenei lives], enemy groups will undoubtedly infiltrate them with similar appearances and before long the country will be driven into bloody fights and anarchy because no one would know whether they are facing friend or foe.

4. This is not a warning! As brothers who are now more dangerous than the green seditionists in your eyes, we advise you not to drive yourselves to the abyss of annihilation of the previous groups of enemies. Don’t act in a way that the doctor [Ahmadinejad] will open his mouth, for if you do you will face angry crowds that will wipe out your sedition in half a day. If people find out the depth of the corruption and crime of some, rest assured they will topple your palaces one after the other.
