After there was the news of potential execution of Jafar Kazemi on Tuesday Jan. 11 his brother Amir had an interview: “last Monday when we visited him the sentence was executive but they told us that they haven’t received an order to carry it out yet. But we heard news that they are going to execute him…At his primary court he was accused of visiting his son (Jafar Kazemi’s son is residing in Ashraf City Iraq, the place of residence of PMOI members). They charged him with Moharebeh and then sentenced him to death. The sentence was endorsed in revision court. We wrote letters to everywhere and we referred to many places may be we could change the sentence but unfortunately in vein… Now we are just asking human rights organizations outside Iran to do something. We can do nothing here. If some one can do something, if someone hears my voice help us to prevent the execution of his sentence.”
