RAHANA: After 16 days of detention, there has been no information as to his condition and the alleged charges. The Disciplinary Committee of the University has suspended him for one semester while he has been in prison.
After the protests in Shiraz University on the Student Day, pressure has intensified on the students. The summons of 9 student activists to the “Number 100” Detention Center, arrest of Afshin Keshtkari, summons of 6 other activists to the Disciplinary Committee, and threatening the students done by the Intelligence Ministry, Security Office and the Disciplinary Committee of the University are some examples of the pressures in order to scare the students.
