RAHANA: During a court proceeding behind the closed doors and in the absence of his lawyer, blogger Navid Mohebbi was sentenced to 3 years of suspended imprisonment. He was released from prison on Saturday.
According to RAHANA, acting against national security, insulting the Supreme Leader and the founder of the Revolution, anti-regime propaganda by communicating with foreign media, and membership in One Million Campaign and supporting its members are among his charges.
The Intelligence Ministry agents arrested him on September 18th at his house and transferred him to Sari Prison. He was beaten during his arrest.
