They insult nematollah’s sufis and detained their house of worship. Sufism is based on the pursuit of mystical truth and Sufis believe that mystical practices such as the recitation of Allah’s divine names can give them direct perception of God.

One of the Basijis with the name of Pouran Mindokht khaligh has encouraged the group of Basijis and crowd against Sufism and mysticism.Iranian Revolutionary guards and Iranian polices were attended.

There were a significant number of Basiji, polices and crowd control forces around the temple and there were large numbers of Sufis en-route to their house of worship.

Seven Basijis went inside the house and talked with one of the Nematollahi’s Sufi order representative ‘Yousof Mardani’. They threatened and forced the sufis and announced they are coming back on Tuesday at 5:00PM.

The Iranian government had been showing signs of increasing antipathy towards Iran’s Sufi community recently.
