2007 Sunday 11 FebruaryGerman ambassador summoned for speaking out against the executions in AhvazSeyed Jalal Yahyazadeh, member of the Islamic parliament, representing the towns of Taft and Maybod wrote a letter to the Islamic regime’s ministry of foreign affairs demanding that the German ambassador be summoned in order to be challenged regarding the European Union’s protest against the executions in the city of Ahvaz. The regime-run news agency, Fars reported: "In the official and open session on Sunday, where the Islamic consultative assembly gathered, an oral communication was read by Gholamali Hadad-Adel to the Islamic Republic executive authorities. This statement included comments from Yahyazadeh to the [Islamic republic’s] minister of foreign affairs which protests against the German embassy and it’s ambassador regarding their open meddling in our country’s domestic affairs as well as a stern warning to the Saudi government about creating conflict between Shiites and Sunnis. Yahyazadeh also called for the strengthening and increase of disciplinary and security agents in the south east province of Sistan-Baluchestan to prevent the repetition of unexpected attacks from terroist groups.” |
