2007 Sunday 11 FebruaryMullah representative threatens Argentine prosecutor in front of Interpol officialsArgentine federal prosecutor, Alberto Nisman who met with International police officials at the their headquarters in the French city of Lyon said: “The representatives of the regime in Tehran openly and loudly threatened me in front of the Interpol officials in such a manner that it frightened me.” Nisman who had traveled to France in order to obtain international warrants against a number of the Islamic Republic’s officials, including Hashemi-Rafsanjani for crimes against humanity, said that after returning to the Buenos Aires, he informed the Argentine foreign ministry of the threats made against him by the Islamic republic’s agents. Subsequently the ministry of foreign affairs of Argentina summoned the chargé d'affaires of the Islamic Republic’s embassy in Buenos Aires.
