2007 Monday 05 FebruaryWorkers representatives of the Sadra industrial group arrested in BoushehrWorkers representatives of the Sadra marine industrial group in Boushehr were summoned to court. According to the regime-run news agency, ILNA’s labor reporter, Mohammad Abbasspour, Rouhollah Bazyar and Akbar Ranjbarian were the individuals who were summoned to public court on Friday morning, February 2nd. Akbar Ranjbarian said: “Subsequent to last weeks’ workers strike, the management of this company lodged complaints with the judiciary, claiming that we had ‘disturbed public order’ for which warrants were issued.” Criticizing the way the workers had been dealt with, he added: “Last evening, Rouhollah Bazyar was inconsiderately arrested at his ailing mother’s house as he visited her.” |
