The regime-run news agency, Fars reported: Ghavamuddin Bozorgian, the director of the Tehran province environmental organization reported that at present all kinds of animals, especially rare birds are being smuggled in and out of Iran.
Bozorgian said: “Most of the animals that are smuggled out of Iran are sent to Arab countries and most of these animals are very rare species of Iranian birds of prey and groupings of Falcons, Hawks and deer. Also among the smuggled animals are large wild animals, snakes and ornamental birds.
