Batebi family once again prevented from visiting Ahmad in prison

Iran Press News: Students’ committee of human rights reporters announced that Ahmad Batebi’s family was once again prevented from visiting him in prison. Batebi had recently lodged a complaint against Javad Momeni, the director of implementations at Evin prison and as a result Momeni deprived the family who is legally permitted to physically meet with Ahmad every 3 weeks, from meeting with him directly and instead only permitted the visit to be done through glass cabins. The Batebi family in protest against this action refused the visit.

Batebi has now been told that in order to be permitted his legal visits with his family, he must submit written requests for the consideration of the authorities, which he rejected.

Also, Batebi’s doctor, Dr. Hessom Firoozi was summoned to the Islamic regime’s revolutionary court in Tehran. In the summons that was sent to him it is written that he must appear within 3 days of the receipt of the summons to branch 14 of the revolutionary court otherwise, a warrant for his arrest with be issued.

It is important to mention that Dr. Firoozi was arrested at his house on Thursday, October 5th and was released after 48 hours.
