2006 Friday 22 DecemberThe Islamic regime hangs 17 people in 3 daysIran Press News: In 3 days, the Islamic regime hangs 17 people in different cities across Iran. On Wednesday, December 20th, 6 people were executed inside Evin prison grounds. Five of these individuals were Iranian and the other was an Afghan national. The names of the executed are Hasan-Gholi, Yadullah, Hossein, Wahid, Mohammad-Hadi and Kheirollah. Reportedly another 3 Afghanis were also publicly executed on Monday, December 18th. Another report indicates that the judicial system of the Islamic regime in the province of Kerman hanged another 5 individuals on Monday. Three of the victims were executed in the town of Rafsanjan and 2 others were executed in Bam. The names of these victims were Gholam A., Noor-Ahmad G., Shahmeer A., Behrooz R. and Mohammad Q. Also in the south western city of Ahvaz 3 individuals who were charged with acting against national security were hanged. The number of the executed from November 20th to December 20th has reached 30 people that are known of; according to several human rights groups the numbers are generally always higher as the regime never reports the exact information. |
