Iran Press News: According to reports, the revolutionary court of the north western town of Orumieh sentenced student activist Mehdi Nouri to 7 years in prison and 3 years in exile. Nouri, a student of the Payam’eh Nour University was arrested during the protests of the summer of 2005 in the Kurdish town of Naghdeh.
Nouri has been in prison and under severe torture for the last 80 days.
