2006 Wednesday 11 OctoberMolotov Cocktails thrown at the Danish embassy in TehranIran Press News: On Tuesday night, October 10th a number of the Islamic regime’s own plain clothes followers and operatives throwing rocks and Molotov cocktails, attacked the Danish embassy in Tehran. The attackers protested: "We have gathered to protest the broadcast of a film on Danish TV which insults the Prophet of Islam." They chanted slogans such as: "Death to the Zionists” while attacking the embassy building in north Tehran. The Danish ambassador in Tehran was also summoned to the foreign ministry of the Islamic republic. The Danish ministry of foreign affairs has requested that the Islamic regime protect their embassy in Tehran. However, it is important to mention that earlier this year, in response to the printing of the Mohammad cartoons in the Danish newspapers Jyllands Posten, the Islamic regime’s own Basiji forces climbed the walls of the Danish embassy compound in Tehran and threw fire bombs at the Embassy walls. |
