Homeless, orphaned street children increasing in Iran cities

Iran Press News: According to a report by regime-run news agency MEHR, the deputy of the department of welfare of the province of Isfahan spoke of the skyrocketing number of street children. He said: "The dilemma of homeless, orphaned children who live on the streets of Iran is one of the most damaging issue gripping big cities in Iran today.”

He said that the law has made working for those under 15 years of age illegal, but rampant and atrocious economic, social and cultural problems has caused not only the hungry street children, but also workers to do crooked jobs like buying and selling drugs.
