A political prisoner in critical condition

Iran Press News: According to human rights activists in Iran, Heidar Noori, a political prisoner who has been detained in the prison of the city of Semnan, has been under severe pressure. The warden and prison officials have now also transferred Noori to the most dangerous ward in that prison, where criminals, such as murderers and rapists are kept. This particular ward is also extremely unhygienic and has very little in the way of security.

In order to extract a confession and recantation, the Mullah judge, Dareini, who presides over the revolutionary court in Semnan, has also put Noori under great psychological pressure.

Noori’s lawyer, has also recently made 2 attempts to visit his client, however, the prison officials categorically refused and prohibited them from meeting.
