Drear Mr. Kofi Annan

We noticed that you are going to have a travel to Iran. We want from you as persons are trying for freedom of Mr. Ahmad Batebi to trying to get him out of jail immediately, and please be serious about this problem.

Mr. Ahmad Batebi is student who arrested on 9 July1999 in the public demonstrations. He was accused of presence in the public demonstrations and also raising the bloody dress of student that wounded in the course of attack on students. At the first condemned to the punishment by death by Courts a sentence commuted to 15 years of imprisonment.

He passed seven years of best years of his life imprisoned. He after serving sex yours his sentence in ٍٍEvin Jail he fell ill with several problems then physicians appointed by the judiciary system judged his condition as very serious and granted him a sick leave for treatment. But after a period of time that he was in the rest at home he arrested again on 27-7-2006 in was so unexpected.

He went to hunger strike immediately to pretest against this action. But hunger strike made his health condition serious as his physician noticed that his life is in danger and he warmed the persons in charge of Evin jail about this and Ahmad Beebe's health condition.

Ahmad Batebi during this time just had one phone call and one visitation and his family are under increasing pressure. He is not allowed to visit his lawyer. As his doctor sailed his life is in the danger of death but persons in charge of jail did not accept Ahmad Batebi's request for treatment.

Dear Mr. Annan as you know Mr. Akbar mohammadi the other student who arrested in the same case on 9 July 1999 died on this month. Akbae mohamadi condemned to the punishment by death but on 2001 by Courts a sentence commuted to 15 years of imprisonment.

Akbare Mohammdi because of a lot of heath problems sent to unlimited sick leave. His physicians told he has so much hurts in the spinal column and spinal cord and it can not treatment in Iran. But Akbar mohammadi was arrested again so he went to hunger strike to pretest against of his arresting. But unfortunately on 30-7-2006 after he carried from hospital to Evin jail passed away in the jail.

Now Akbar Mohammadi's parents have complained against the persons in charge of his death.
Death of Akbar Mohammadi, bad situation of Ahmad Batebi and his physician's report about danger of his life all of that made us so worry that he had have same fate as like as Akbar Mohammadi.

Dear Mr. Annan we must don not let Ahmade Batebi and other political prisoners had such bad fade as like as Akbar mohamadi.

We are trying for freedom of Ahmad Batebi. His waif, Mrs. Somaie Bayienat wanted by a letter from all human rights organizations throughout of the world to push Iran government to make Ahmad Batebi free. Also we wanted from all human rights organizations and all people that searching for freedom throughout of the world to unit with this campaign. Good news is that the Amnesty International answered our request to help us for freedom of Ahmad Batebi, and his organization starts an intonation action for this problem.

This letter is forwarded by Ahmad Batebi's Freedom Campaign and by that we wanted his freedom immediately and all political prisoners. We want from you to do an action for freedom Ahmad Batebi and all other political prisoner to make them free and do all for their treatment.

We want from you during your travel to Tehran send a team of impartial experts of Amnesty international to Iran for looking this situation of political prisoners and make a correct index of them and trying to get them out of jail urgently.
