2006 Thursday 03 AugustRussia invites Iran to conform to the resolution of UNMOSCOW - AFP- Russia invited Thursday Iran to conform to the Council Resolution of safety of UN which granted one month to him, until on August 31, to cease its activities of uranium enrichment. “We hope that the Iranian part will follow the calls which are sent to him and which no additional action of UN will be necessary”, the ministry Russian of the Foreign Affairs in an official statement commenting on declares the Iranian rejection of this resolution. “We would wish to stress that in agreement with article 25 of UN, the members of the organization agree to obey the Council Decisions of safety and to implement them”, the ministry adds.
